Hi! I’m Allison Shiver, and I started AlterEgo Social Media Co. in July of 2022. I’ve lived in the Columbus, Georgia area since 2009 and I call Moultrie, Georgia my hometown. I am a wife and dog mom to 3 frenchies! I am truly passionate about social media and the difference it can make for a small business. I have the unique experience of having been a part of the age before social media (I was 18 when Facebook launched). I was raised in a time when word of mouth from a friend or neighbor were how you discovered new places. Everything changed when the world went online. Fast forward to today and social media is almost a requirement in being successful as a small business. Not just posting to social media but strategizing and creating in a way that reaches your target audience. That’s where I come in. Having been born into both worlds, I take the old school feel of community networking and bridge the gap into an engaging online brand presence!

We work with some of the top businesses in the Columbus, Georgia area as well as all over the U.S. I love what I do but mostly it is the love of helping small businesses get the recognition they deserve that keeps me passionate about what I do.
